Yep, This is pretty familiar--
Symphony, I'm with you on the Christmas spirit.  Just been through too many Christmases, I guess.  My daughter and son-in-law's anniversary is December 22nd, and my grandson's birth is December 16th, so December is a fun month.  Those class pictures are a trip too, aren't they?  Our kids hardly ever looked good in them.

Just think...in the coming years, with age, you too will be loosing your teeth. Maybe, your daughter will be a tooth fairy for you? Just a wicked thought about stress of the future. I know, pack up my words and get out of here.. see no teeth!!

It will all work out 'Symphony, settle down and have a cup of tea....
Symphony, girl, you're going to get high blood pressure.  Relax.

I too have forgotten the tooth fairy at least once and managed to cover up the mistake! Buying for a 7 year old girl would be a novelty for me - but I seem to remember the daughter of a friend of mine enjoying those beading kits where they make their own jewellery?

Symphony...Don't feel bad...I'm behind, too....
How cute about the tooth fairy forgetting to come, haha, and then she shows up. How sweet....I loved the tooth fairy, too. Great for kids to have fantasy like that!

Having said that yesterday we were at a fair and my daugher saw a baby doll and pram and screamed that she wanted it, was heartbroken we couldn't take it home. This morning she woke up and said, Father Christmas is going to give me the baby and pram. Guess who will be searching the shops and internet

Symphony, I remember once heading out to get a big gift for my son's 2nd birthday. We going to get him a ride-in car. That morning we planned to go we awoke to find we had been burgled and so we never got to the toy shop. The next day was the birthday and then I suddenly remembered a little toy truck I'd seen in the toy shop sale earlier that year. I dug out that truck and wrapped it. My son opened it and played with it for an hour before looking at anything else. He never did get a ride-in car until much later we found one, second-hand at a fair and so Santa brought that.

The best presents are not the most expensive ones. I'm sure you'll manage wonderfully.

Symphony,
I'm with you. I really hate anything fake and superficial about Christmas presents, so I'm trying to keep it real simple.  Happy birthday to your baby girl!

Christmas really is getting close. I have had so many bills that I won't be able to start shopping until December but I've been thinking about presents too. Your daughter sounds wonderful. It amazes me how quickly they grow up.

SYMPHONY

Well, it is that time of year for the shoppin to begin. I have gotten some done! Not nearly anything like Lovelylady, but she motivated me.

I am sure the pictures will turn out nice. I can see a little girl with out her front tooth, God to have those times back again~~

My daughter got a hold of some sizzors before her picture, at that age, and cut her bangs to "NOTHING" I was horrified, it was picture day, it is probably up there with one of my favorite pictures of her!!!

Your a wonderful Mother sweet Symphony!!!

Dear Symphony,

I was also not here because of Diwali our annual festival.I got your mail and i'm happy that you liked the design but which one?I think its one with the hearts.I'm really happy that you liked it,i was quite apprehensive whether you will like them or not.And when you have a beautiful cause to work for the ideas come on themselves,so please dont thank me, the designs had to come from a friend for a friend. So no more thanks.

Love,

I recently found
a picture of myself when all I had was two front teeth. Boy do I look goofy! Humm things havent changed a whole lot. I agree with you the internet is the only place to do holiday shopping. Take care...and remember the world won't end if you don't get everything done.

SYMPHONY...

Try to enjoy the events involved  in getting ready for Christmas, Princess.  It is suppose to be fun.  Just think of the children's faces on Christmas morning.  It makes it all worthwhile.

You make me wonder if my children all still believe the tooth fairy only comes on Friday, regardless what day they happen to lose their tooth.  We taught them that ever sense they each lost their first tooth.  ha-ha  Of course you must know that Friday was payday for you know who.  Beings my oldest is now Thirty one years, somebody or someone probably informed him of the entire truth, somewhere along the way.  Ha-Ha   I love memories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Oh yes, I remember picture day for the children, too.  More stories there, that I won't go into.  ha-ha.   Take care Princess!

Symphony...good recovery effort on the tooth fairy incident!
Quite inventive, dear friend. I feel the same as you about NOT going to shops to shop this year. I have purchased the majority of my children's trinkets over the internet this year, as well. It does relieve alot of pressure. Now I just have to make sure I've hidden them in a good hiding spot. Hope you find some quiet time soon! Thinking of you and suffering right along with you.
