- Go to Multiple Sex Offenders Living At A Location Near You
As much as I follow these issue, Lisa, it occurs to me that, no matter how
much Megan's Law or Jessica's Law gain media attention, no matter how many sexual predators make the news, no matter how much recidistic sexually offensive crimes are committed -- the public is amazingly ill-informed on the issues and to some degree remain quite unaware that these predators have a revolving door policy with regard to the legal system. In and out, they merge and re-emerge into the general population only months or a few years after committing their atrocities on society. And we live and walk and work right next to them, unknowing and potentially at risk.

Sounds scary...
It would be better if they put bars on the hotel windows, and parked patrols outside. Could you imagine travelling, not knowing the area, and end up in the middle of that. Dang. Then again, we live in a nice area, and still have a rehab house down the street...one of the guys goes and hangs with the kids waiting for the bus each day. He's watched, and felt harmless, but I worry if he forgets his meds. I don't want to be paranoid, but at the same time, it can bring some concern.
Thanks for sharing, because I don't think many are truly aware of this notion.
