mightyholywarrior -- you ol son of a gun -- how have you been?
Even if one believes as you do, ultimately that is not the issue. Any belief, in anything, does not constitute a scientific theory. Once the parameters of scientific contention are re-defined to include any field of study that does not fit into our current criteria for scientific premise, we end up with will, desire and inherent instinct (or belief) as determinant factors of what constitutes science. Real science begins to take a back seat to these human traits and with it we lose our objectivity to discover. In other words; introducing ID as a scientific theory as so many are apt to do, will inevitably push us back to using science as a tool to reconcile faith. Our species has been there and done that.

Gome, hello, my friend. Read this post and found it informative and thought
provoking.
But I am one of those guys who firmly believes that "HE took a handful of clay and created a man, and went on to use a rib from the man to create a woman".

Xeno-x -- within yours and my collective life experience we have seen that
the fervant fundies have a shelf life. They eventually fall off of the rails to either moderate their beliefs or abandone them altogether......funny thing, I just posted about this a few minutes ago.

maybe it is worn out
someone will resurrect it soon
seems to be a push to cram this stuff down people's throats.
but I see NOPEACE hasn't posted for about 4 days either.
must be on vacation.
and the best fundies seem to have gone far away.

Xeno-x -- it was a slow Blogit day all around
where normally this blog has 40-60 viewers a day, it only had 25 clicks since it was put up. Maybe the subject matter is worn out?

sheesh
i thought a fundy would have caught up with this by now
and shown you
actually people need to learn
logic
scientific theory
and not accepting anything as "gospel" until it's been demonstrated as valid.
looks like NOPEACE is letting down on the job.

mikebrown - I've often wodered how those same people would accept a
public agenda to have say re-incarnation or even something such as astrology inserted in ID's place? Both can be spun into a bogus scientific theory using the same loose parameters as ID.

agreed.
the short-sighted disposition of those who wish ID to be taught alongside evolution continues to astound me.
wow.
