            - Go to Bush Administration Takes A Couple More Hits

Too true, writersjourney. Hell, if only anyone could submit a workable

alternative. Alas, here in the good old US, we've still to embrace the multi-party system, so Democrats it will have to be. First item of business: break off or soften that liberal edge everyone thinks about when speaking about Democrats. Second: find someone the people like and will vote for. Hell, find someone the people don't like but will still vote for. The Democrats face a problem of conservative distrust and have lost most of their rural support base. Even the neocons constantly shooting themselves in the collective foot is doing very little to lift Democrats to better political advantage.

Demise of the Neo-Conservative Power Block

While I enjoy watching and participating in the demise of the neo-conservative power block that has been ruining this country, I have to say that there is more to Trent Lott's criticism than meets the eye. Trent is still smarting from being a victim of Karl Rove successful campaign to get him removed as Majority Leader following the foolish comment about being in the "right side of history" during the birthday party for Strom Thurmond (who was on the side of government imposed racial segregation). Thought, rightfully and practically, that this was giving the Republican Party an extremist image, and that the Party would be better served by (also under investigation) Bill Frist.
Anyway, Delay down. Libby down. Cheney wobbling. The neo-con war in Iraq discredited. Privatized Social Security dead in the water. Anti-federal government sentiment thrown into serious doubt after Katrina. Aside from the Supreme Court nominees, I'd say things are looking pretty good, if only the Democrats would offer a bold alternative......

Yeah, kingmi, it's sad that some records are worth listening to even when

broken, but, like you said, there isn't anyone who wants to listen to an endless droning littany. Still, you never know...

saul, baby, she may be right but no one is listening. She's a broken record

...I know, it's good to be back full time.  I'm like really enjoying Blogit! again.  Sorry so many of my old friends are gone.  Glad you are still here!  Cheers!

I believe she's right, kingmi. Like Feinstein, I believe events, facts,

and situations were manipulated for the political agenda of the Bush administration, but you know all that. And it's nice to hear from you again, my friend.

Saul, I have a few people like Barbara Boxer in my life. I do not listen

to them because they have proven themselves unworthy, lacking reasonable and objective discourse.
