It does happen! I have been a writer at Suite101 for years. One of the things that went wrong I think was the owners never origianally had a money making strategy that could sustain it.
Now things are rapidly changing so that it can make enough money to stay afloat.
All natural but painful to some. In the process people are leaving hell west and crooked.
I will remain if I pass the test to get back in. However I will only take one topic and focus focus focus
When Online Communities start insisting on standards and quality control people become stifled.
It is all interesting though.
I am not much less attached to anywhere I write,

You know, I have thought of Blogit being gone--more than once. As nothing is forever and companies usually care about the bottom line before anything else, I can see Blogit going away. Gosh, I hope not, because I guess I've become dependent on it too--especially when there are caring, understanding people like you around, who leave supportive and sensitive comments when others are having a problem like my recent situation with my son. Let's hope Blogit survives for a long time or even gets better, as it could afford to do. Thanks again. Be well.

I've had to be off the planet
for a while. But couldn't wait to come back and post and catch up with everyone. I guess it's part of the DNA of being a disciplined writer now - which is what I really needed - but it's more than that, it's people telling stories, which has been the case since history began. We're making history, and without history there is no progress.

Don't you remember when Blogit went down, we all got on the Blogitville bus and IBWilliams drove us to safety? Then we had a wreck cause something happened so we had a big Blogitville party?
I have no idea where I would go if Blogit went down, or if you left!! Plus, who would keep me sane???
