It's not just us thinking this is genuis.  I checked out the Borgata's entertainment in Atlantic City.  INXS is sold out well in advance.    Again, this isn't a band I would have gone to see, but when I saw it, I wanted to.

I think you nailed it.  At first I was amused with their constant..."You're not right for our band..."  I kept thinking..."And who cares."  But like you said, marketing genuis! I care now.  The guy who did it is responsible for Survivor

The INXS show was a marketing genius. The band had was on the rails after the death of their charismatic front man.
With regard to Depardieu's retirement, it will be noticed in France which is where he made most of his films
