Are you saying that it is impossible for someone to mis-recall a statement or a time line after 10-12 appearances before a prosecutor? Perhaps Libby should have adopted the famous 'I Don't Recall" method......it has worked very well for another administration........

Number of times that Clinton figures who testified in court or before Congress said that they didn't remember, didn't know, or something similar.

Yet for some reason you still won't explain why this applies to Mr Scooter (and everyone else in the free world) but NOT to those 500+ folk held by the so-called "leader" of the free world at Guantanamo Bay.

Lewis "Scooter" Libby is not being charged with the leaking of Valerie Wilson's identity to NBC's Tim Russert and Time's Matt Cooper. The charges are pertaining to his lying about those conversations. #1: Obstruction of Justice Libby " did knowingly and corruptly endeavor to influence, obstruct and impede" the grand jury's investigation about when and how he acquired and disclosed information to reporters about Valerie Wilson's employment with the CIA.

#2. two counts of making false statements regarding his conversations with Russert and Cooper.

#3: two counts of perjury. Libby lied under oath to the Grand Jury on March 5 and March 24, 2004 to the grand jury about his conversations with Russert and Cooper.

You're right, he's not a traitor, he's merely a co-conspirator and a liar. I feel so much better about having him in office now. Again, this is how criminals are caught, by attempting to cover their tracks from the original crime.

Let me respond to something said in your current topic regarding Reality Challenged Pom Pom Shakers........it has a major inaccuracy that needs to be addressed.....

The claims there in state that Republicans, myself included, are attacking the Prosecutor in the Libby thingy.......

Who has said anything about the prosecutor??? In fact, show me where any GOPher office holder has attacked or smeared Fitzgerald......I'm looking forward to all those examples you must have access to.......

You must be thinking about the way Clinton's gang tried to destroy Ken Starr........

BTW.....Rush hasn't said a word about the Prosecutor either....but it is a popular trend to tie him in to things like this as if it were a detrimental thing......

What does the likes of Al Franken have to say??? He's advocating the execution of Liddy, Rove, Chaney and even the President. Quite a difference in style don't you think??
