I seem to recall those sketches in text books too. There's something striking about seeing this ancient art up close and in the middle of a national park. Something as simple as a hand print can be a touch stone to a lot of reflection and a humbling sense of history.

Those of us that are a bit older would have seen that picture a thousand times!!!
But in old wooden etchings from text books!
