One of my favorite things to do is listen to him.  He tells stories.  I don't know what they are but the inflections he uses, let's me know the exciting parts.  He also asks questions in his stories.  They are fun to listen to and I always ask him to go on.  He probably thinks I'm dumb for saying something like that after he has said, "the end."

A TOWER OF BABBLE

If one could but re-capture the innovativeness of a child, there would be much more said than meets the eye. A child, a blank slate written on only of the moment.  Perhaps not wanting to be tied down to a meaning, just being glad to be... a child; alive. But oh how soon fear, caution, and reasoning would consume the innocence of men and lead them to the need to be re-born.

I do enjoy your sharings...do watch what is being said. It is important to teach, but also to learn that one day both you and the child may return as one.

I have heard of that and have considered it.  I have tried simple things like have him make a "gimme" sign for more but he refuses to do it.  I think he's stubborn like his mom.  =)

That's cute Success!
Have you heard of baby sign language? My neice taught her baby how to ask for things thru signing before she could use words.
