Oh, I need coffee
Mispelled a couple of words in my comment. Oh, well.... Time to go down to the coffee shop down the street, except I'm expecting someone from the phone company who will tutor me on my voice mail. Soon. Very, very soon. (Where's Rosalyn when I need her!? LOL)

There's a lot to be said for keeping the piece. And your sense of self around abrasive people. My advice? When he writes to you, take a deep breath. Then bless him (think of a posiive thing about him). Then take any gold nuggets in his advice, and shrug off the rest. (It helps to kick or punch a bag to get to this serine place.

Hmmmmm
A mum had a go at me today.
I answered her - but - it didn't all get too heated.
I do expect trouble tomorrow though.

Yes, this is something I have to work on. Restraining myself. I usually make an effort to hold my tongue until I know exactly what I'm going to say.

Rhiannon, it didn't happen here...
I realize that some folk can be abrasive. Some I come to understand over time and some, I avoid as much as possible. Still people like that do get on my nerves, maybe because I'm totally opposite. I'll bend over backward to keep the peace and mind my manners.

I don't know the review or the reviewer
But one of my very best friends is a world class kung fu instructor and copy writer. He teaches other people how to survive on the streets and in the world of business. He is often blunt and frank, not wanting you to screw up and die or go broke. Some people are like this.

Libertine,
You do have to wonder if people can be that oblivious or fall into such bad habits that they don't realize when they are being rude.

It's good that you took the high road. He may be one of those people who honestly doesn't realize that he id being rude. I've come across those types. I don't see how they can not realize how they come across, but I have to remember that the important thing is the spirit in which something was said or written....Or he may just be an ass who runs hot and cold!

Offbeats,
Every time I've spoken (when angry) before I thought, I've regretted it. I agree that when opportunities come to deal with matters, they should be dealt with as diplomatically as possible.

Good going, those knee jerk reactions can come back to haunt you. Still the time may come when you will have the "right window of chance" and get the message across w/o incident..
