The news regarding Melody's mom isn't good I'm afraid. She's going to require heart surgery due to fluid retention. I'm totally confused about the power situation. Melody is in Hialeah too, but they're still without electricity and have been told that they probably will be until around November 15th.

Your continued prayers will be much appreciated. I thank you for your concern and kind words. Melody is an incredible person and she is being so strong right now. She's such an intensely loving person who is extremely family-oriented, so her most vulnerable area is threatened right now. Yet she seems to have this innate ability to hit some crisis switch and only focus on what has to be done; a no-nonsense approach, though, she's battling tremendous inner turmoil.

Please pray.

Cunning
I am so sorry I haven't read this long. I was hit by the hurricane too and just recently got lights. How is your friend? What does she have? Please keep us posted. Love Cosy

Thanks to Everybody

You heard it straight from the source.  She's my angel on earth and she needs your prayers and you came through.  Thank you for your continued support and kindness.  We're waiting to hear good news about Melody's mother's tests.  I'll let you know when I hear.

Dearest Cunning and to all of his wonderful friends,

Thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness and prayers. My mom is stable, and at the moment, waiting for conditions of Wilma’s aftermath to improve to perform the necessary tests and assess her prognosis. With the use of a generator, my refrigerator and computer are powered for short intervals, so I’m going to take advantage and browse around blogit and enjoy some normalcy. May God grant you and your loved ones abundance of blessings.

Dear Cunning, I miss you mucho!!

Lots of love, Melody

They're in a hospital with no electricity. Doctors are trying to keep Melody's mom stable under the circumstances. The area is supposed to be without electricity all week. Nightmare conditions, my friend. Your prayers are much appreciated.

Yes, I will be sending my prayers and thoughts their way. Being in the hospital during a Hurricane is a very trying situation.
