At least the lunch in Palermo would be grave from the starter, Pat_B. The mind boggles at what you could dig up for dessert. Anyone for fried brains?

well, just when I thought I'd heard it all...
Most of the time I didn't like going to dinner at Mom's when everybody was alive and walking around. Always too much "old business" to be brought to the table again. but that was then... :)

ginnie
Strange that you should mention my voice, ginnie. When I'm drunk I have the voice of an angel - a fallen angel.

Original
It's a deal, Original, but I'd rather just have won the Canadian $54 Million lottery.

Shall I count your typos Mac?
I can do that, and say that, as I've just consumed an awfully good bottle of Italian vino...but I deserve it...it's my birthday!

What's your excuse??

ginnie
Me to, ginnie. We've had visitors - a few beers, and now I'm watching the Senators beat the Hurricanes, then I'm going to start a Wilbur Smith book in bed very soon. Do I feel guilty? Somewhat, but I'm sure another beer or Scotch will overcome it. Have a pleasant relaxation ginnie. Like is about enjoyment as well as commitment.

Keep that 'oddment' memory coming....
...it's full of totally interesting stuff! (Sorry my overuse of the word 'stuff' today...I've turned my brain off for a bit!)

word
It's one of the silly things I remember like Thailand once being known as Siam, and Sri Lanka being called Ceylon. I have an 'oddment' memory, word.

Ghoulish is an excellent way to describe
having gatherings with the dead. Didn't know that Taiwan had another name before. Nice tidbits.
