Welcome, Divine 1!

Thanks for reading, and for the compliment. "Firey wit" is a great way to release anger and exasperation at these people. It's the Irish gift of gab. Far better than the blithering fury of certain other readers around here.

Debbie, thanks for asking. I was appalled at what was being investigated, whether it was Whitewater, the travel office firings, the lying about Monica, the Rose Law Firm billing records, you name it. But there are major differences between the Clinton investigations and the DeLay and Libbey indictments. See my posting from October 30th over on my Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness blog at http://www.blogit.com/Blogs/Blog.aspx/WriterofLight1342/ for discussion of that. (Sorry, glenn, pay up!)

Glenn, I agree wholeheartedly (yes, readers, it does happen on occasion!) - let the process run its course. But you need to do the same. What will you do when he is exonerated because of the flawed indictment?

WriterofLight,
What is wrong with you? This is Tom Delay, a low-rent-redneck who abused his power, not the Pope! Calm down let the process run it's course! Jail time for this clown will demonstrate that no-one-is-above-the-law! Not even a "slick" politician!

Rage against the machine.
There is an art the madness indeed. I love the fiery wit of your politically commentary. I feel the energy jumping off my screen. No, I am not being sarcastic.

Writer
So were you this appalled at the Whitewater investigation? If our leaders are corrupt, they need to go. Sorry. I don't care if they are democrat or republican, they need to go.
