So, what will it take for all of us, no matter color, race or creed, to understand and get along with each other? The brief verbal answer is uncomplicated. Accomplishing it is complicated, and will take a long time...................Knowledge. Respect. Love.

I'm white, but I've lived as a minority before in a southeast asian
country.  I was ridiculed, taunted, and felt up by men who thought that (because I was American) I had to be easy.  I have to admit that I am afraid of what it will be like for me when I am a minority.  However, it's not because of any dislike I have towards any other race.  I think it's mainly about change.  We fear it.  And we fear people who are different than us.  That's the best I can come up with...  Excellent post.  Really makes one think...

I'm whie and you're right
White people are afraid of what's going to happen if we become minorities. I've thought about it and initially it scared me a little too. But I got over it. What is going to change more than anything is the media, which is already happening, becuase the powers that be will need to apeal to the majority to sell their product. I forsee a lot of more drums, a lot more dancing, and white people continually being generalized as soulless dorks, not a whole lot different than the culture we're living in now.

Zoke

Good idea! Sure looks like you're going to need a bit of Spanish, doesn't it. Most of the European states have a birthrate that can't maintain the population, so they're going to be radically different in twent, fifty years. Mostly African Asian and Arab.

Good luck with your blog.
