All so true
Way to put it into perspective. In my view, the good outweighs the bad; the warmth chases away the chill and even when the heat is rising too high, it can be calmed and balanced by a cascade of caring, reasonable voices. Lol, if that makes any sense.

Well, it's easier said than done. I have good intentions, but meantime, the chicken is thawing the sink, I have 3 or 4 loads of laundry to do, my apartment looks like Hurricane Katrina hit it, and here I sit, on the blog again. But, still, keeping up with writing outside the blog and real life is top priority, and I'll settle down, I swear, once I get over bouncing from blog to blog like an excited puppy. btw, I'll come over and say hi, too.

Hi Symphony,
Thanks for stopping by and the welcome back. I made myself a couple of promises before I decided to rejoin Blogit, which I did after a lot of soul-searching and thought. 1. Take myself and blogit way less seriously and not get into slanging matches over things I believe, or let myself be baited by name-calling and get all upset over it. 2. Not let Blogit get in the way of "real life" or let my relationship with my boyfriend suffer or be neglected in any way because of blogging. 3. Read more posts, read more slowly and comment less quickly without "going off" 4. Use it as a real writing forum, not just writing the social, off the top of my head kind of blogs, but really work on them and think them through.
So, that's a blog all by itself, but those are my thoughts on why I left and why I came back.,

So true, so true. Blogit challenges all of us to become better writers...One downside I have is when I've posted a blog, and it doesn't get the comment I had hoped it would. You mentioned that one and I agree.
