Wow...so much like trying to balance the scales.  Heart versus liver.  Hats off to those professionals who know what they're doing in this arena.  Just follow doctor's orders and...you know...little things like attending appointments... hmmm...  Whether in Texas or anyplace else    stern face...

If you're all set to go with Photobucket, then all you need to do is make sure your photos are somewhere in your computer, such as your desktop or in "my pictures."  You can also get them from your disk drive, but I always prefer to have them in either of the othe two places.  Then you go to Photobucket and click "Browse."  A "Choose file" box should open.  So then you go to the little "Look in" window and choose the appropriate place, like "Desktop" or "My pictures."  When you see the photo you're looking for, just click "Open."  That will take you back to Photobucket and you'll see the details of your photo in the "Browse" slot.  Then go down a bit and click "Submit."  You might have to wait about 10 or 15 seconds, but the photo should appear down at the bottom.  When you see it, just right-click on it and choose "Copy."  That's for the thumbnail size.  If you want the full size, click on the photo.  Then do the same "Copy" thing.  Then go back to Blogit and open a post window as usual.  When you're ready to insert the photo, click on the clipboard icon on the toolbar in your posting window.   You might want to print this off...haha... kind of long.   Good luck!

You are a mind reader....I actually put a lot of them on disc tonight....but now what do I do?  I mean, I'm registered with photobucket but I've never used it....you know I'm a dunce when it comes to this stuff!

Thanks for your concern.....the big problem they were worried about on the liver is okay.  The thing is, my heart problem is a component of cholesterol known as Lp(a), genetic, and my cardiologist happens to be an expert on the subject. It's supposed to be <30; when I had my heart attack it was >188.  At best, with tons of niacin and exercise, it can probably be brought to about 50% of the where it was at its highest.  Most people never even have the test for it; it is highly toxic and you have to ask for it...it's probably why my dad died at 56 but it was never tested for in him.  The only thing to do is keep all the rest of the risk factors way down.  All my other cholesterol numbers are like that of an Oriental man's.....really, really good....via meds and lifestyle.  Plus, the niacin, etc.  Plus, I will have a lifetime of "tinkering"....my cardiologist wants all my other numbers down to those of a teenage girl's....so he had increased my cholesterol meds...and it upped my liver enzymes...something he is willing to "tinker" with and just manage.  I was supposed to go in and have lab tests here in Texas....I didn't....I won't mess up like that again.  The general practice doc isn't comfortable with the tradeoff.  It's kind of the risk to my heart is greater than the risk to my liver as long as it's watched.  Long explanation..... And, okay....I'll watch the lead.....

PS:
I almost forgot -- while I was reading your post and you were mentioning your childhood photos, the first thing that occurred to me was, hey, why doesn't Krisles post some childhood photos?  That way, she could still retain her anonymity but we'd finally get a look at a real live Krisles....   Then you said that you were thinking of it.  So....great idea.  I think that would be fun.  Hope you get that scanner a-workin'

You had to come back to earth twice during this post, and both times you were supposedly on cruise control?  Hmm.....  Pull over, ma'am....you're suspended...   So the last time you mentioned the diabetes problem, I noticed a "slash liver" after it, as in "diabetes/liver."  That's new.  What's up with the liver?  Or does that go hand-in-hand with diabetes?  I sure hope you get it all taken care of asap.  By the way, another great travelin' post.  I liked the allusion to the old west.  I was thinking along those lines myself and then you mentioned it.   Now, slow down....

I really had a fairly good handle on my lead foot .....until I started driving on 71.....actually, it's a pretty good road to drive like that on if one is going to because of the width and with the shoulders.  But, you are right...I should slow down...but it is sooooo beautiful....and this car just has a mind of its own.  And, yes, I think this work of going backward, to go forward, is important....hard, but important....thanks for your support...I always feel it and appreciate it....a lot.

As in everything....different strokes for different folks......perhaps, a compromise might be in order when in the same car?!  But you are so right....cars and drivers do seem to have a certain comfort notch...in everything....thanks for reading....

Krisles....You take that lead foot down a few notches.....
We want you here in one glorious piece...I like that you are going "backward" in time to remember who Krisles really is. I believe we should all do that in one form or another. Hope your mom and you get thumbs up from your doctors...And slow down...in more ways than one. Lie down on the Egyptian cotton, haha....and take a breather.

comfortable speed
Some cars just have a speed that's comfortable. Mine locks in real nice at 45 on 2 lane mountain roads. my girlfriend's clicks right at 80 or so.
