Your Blogit content is indexed by Google and other search engines since non-Blogit members -- and the search engines -- can view excerpts of each blog post. The length of your blog posts can be modified by clicking on the Write page and then Edit, and then the link "Change display settings".
Furthermore, since the Blogit site gets significant traffic, your Blogit blogs are more likely to show up quickly and higher in ranking in search results.
