whether karma
exists just during one's life
like: if you don't handle a hammer correctly, you'll hit your finger -- that's karma.
or whether a life sometimes is working out karma from a previous life.
it's the same as with
heaven and hell
the eistence or not of these.
all we have is this life.
we can learn to avoid bad karma in it by refraining from actions that have bad consequence.
and we can place all our attention on this life
and let all the other lives take care of themselves.
