I found this for you, and I hope it answers your question
There are more than 300 million people for whom a Slavic language is their mother tongue. Most of them live in Russia and in Ukraine. Like the Romance and Germanic Languages, Slavic Languages comprise a branch of the Indo-European family of languages. Among the Slavic languages spoken today there are: Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Croatian. Czech, Kashubian, Lusatian, Macedonian, Polish, Russian, Rusyn, Serbian, Slovak, Slovene, Sorbian (Upper and Lower), and Ukrainian. Linguists normally divide these languages into three groups: West, South, and East Slavic.
