Gome, I'm currently at my PT job, but will look at it and send you a quote

when I get home.  I cannot access AOL from work, so I'll be in touch later.  Thanks.

Ariala - take a quick look at it and send me a quote
www.discountcarbide.com     I have the banner on a secure server for my PayPal gateway pages so I don't want to lose it (or lose it entirely, it could be modified or made smaller), aside from that there is nothing else pertaining to the design that needs to remain. Just keep in mind that the middle of the page (where the items being sold are now) will be a frame for the storefront so it is really top of page and bottom of page that needs to be tweaked.

Or...I can create the jpgs and the actual page layout in Frontpage and
send you the HTML code and art files.

Gome, I do a lot of the headers and artwork in Illustrator and then create

jpg files for web use.  Seriously, let me know if I can help.

Ariala -- I may take you up on that myself
I'm having an ecommerce storefront put up today, am working on the affiliate program myself but need an overhaul of the website template that I will be using.

If anyone needs any website design help, let me know. LOL
www.kcnet.com/writersplace  (Code is not my thing, but I can provide you links to websites I've done to see designs.  I use a program that creates the code for me, but I've designed LOTS of websites.)

DamonLeigh -- I just took a quick look at it
Your salespage is a good start, just needs a bit of  "beautifying". If you don't mind, I am going to be so bold as to run through the code and make a few minor adjustments.  I'll send you a copy of it tomorrow. Being design deficient myself, I won't do anything drastic nor change a word of content. Consider it as a second opinion and if you find it not suitable to your tastes ...no harm done.

Hey, I'm...
...pretty good!

Getting on with life.

Trying to get my income steadied in time for the baby being born in December.

Check out my new web venture at www.specialistdvds.co.uk - I'll be interested in hearing what you think, especially of the copy (which isn't converting overly well at the moment).

Go well, my friend!

gomer pile...
also known as gomedome...know that you haven't offended me, per-say, but you have gotten under my skin a little. that is my fault, though. i shouldn't have taken it so to heart. i understand we have different views of life and faith and many other, high profile branches of life. know that you have my respect and although i have, and will probably continue to disagree with you, i'm not crazy. i don't have gomedome written all over my walls in my shoebox apt. or anything like that.

gome--
I know that you are actually a good and caring person.  I can see that true believers might be threatened by what you say, but they should not be.  And you know, they are not beheading anyone--at least not in this century--but I think they have much in common with the radical Islamic fundamentalists.  A zealot is a zealot in any cloth.  BTW, I notice that I unintentionally left you off the list of favorites in my post.  Be assured you have an honored, if not sacred, place there.  Hemlocker

Ariala - thank you -- I have to be a better person than that
It took a few minutes but after giving it some thought I realized that "hey, I've had ladies slap me in the face before" ....so I took one that I felt was a little out of line.....it just makes up for the times I ducked.

Gome, not that it matters to anyone here, but I'm proud of you for
removing a hurtful post...not sure what it was, but that's cool.

Hemlocker -- aside from your tongue in cheek suggestions that I find Jesus
(at least I hope they were tongue in cheek) you do make a very valid point. I put up a rather scathing post last night in response to being faulsly accused of harassment, then once I thought about it for a moment I told myself that I have to be a better man than to enage in conflict with someone who is so easily wounded. I took the post down, no more conflict with this person. Still, and considering all of this, no person need be a professional tackling dummy for someone else's problems.

gomedome--
You need to lighten up, my friend.  When you accept that God has chosen you to be a villain, you will be at peace.  Have a drinkand accept that Jesus loves you with all your flaws.  As for justsouno, I feel sorry for her--not for her beliefs, but because she is an old woman who feels herself under seige.  She is in pain, and I never wish to cause anyone pain.   Hemlocker

hey!
that's the way i thappens --
you're not innocent!
haven't you heard of "guilt by association"?
you are associated with you so you're guilty.
repeent!

Xeno-x -- I never looked at it like that --- but there is a big
difference between you being villified and my villification in this instance. I never said anything, I wasn't involved in the debate nor did I leave one single comment pertaining to the posts in question. I'm innocent I tell you...innocent...okay maybe not innocent...okay hardly innocent.... but I didn't do it this time.

boy
what is this?
you talk like they're taking you alone on.
you just read justouno's post a few notches down in this section.

hey!

I feel sort of gratified to be in the same stratospheric condition that you're in in her post.

don't get the big head and think that they are after only you.

kooka_lives -- in the instance you cite I still can't figure out how I was
included. I ignored the debate, left no comments (I never do with this particular blogger) yet find myself lumped in with both you and Xeno-x  as having harrassed her or whatever wording was used. So much for keeping my mouth shut. But we must in this instance, consider the source.

blackcat30 - right on -- it's that respect thing however that is a huge
problem for some people. For too many people it simply means to accomodate their beliefs with no regard for your own.

WhiteJedi - there are some secondary considerations as well
such as: how much fun is the other person having? At the end of the day we are only authoring just a puny little blog read by ...if we are lucky 50 people. A lot of fuss and bluster just ain't worth it.

SirBryantheLion -- welcome to Blogit
You will find that if you keep your blog content within the parameters of generally held beliefs there will be little in the way of issues. I know of no one on this site that holds a divergent opinion, at least concerning religion, that is a nuisance to other bloggers. You may have a little trouble with some of the more fervant believers however, we all have.

I'll never understand religious wars. Fighting over something that
can't be proven is pointless.  We won't know who's right until we die.  I like to learn and debate, but the wars are meaningless.  We should just respect each other's beliefs and leave it at that.

There is one who has decided that you, I and my father are just whining and are stumbling around clueless. She of course then ends her post with

"I DON'T DEMAND POWER, I HAVE IT."

Which says to me this person is very unstable. She seems to be a control freak with delusions of superiority.

I just try to be honest with them and hope that they have enough sense to see the truth of it all. Although most seem to embrace living their fantasy lives.

Thankfully I haven't had this experience.

I know what you are saying.  It seems that some people can get carried away with comments.  They take a debate too far and begin to attack someone's character rather than keeping with the issue at hand.  It's rather unfortunate really...
