- Go to HOW MUCH FREEDOM IS TOO MUCH?
Excellent point!
"I have seen too many people here on blogit who very much do not understand just what freedom is. In their minds anything that offends them should be 100% banned and no one allowed to choose for themselves if it is right or wrong for them. Sorry but that is not freedom."
Not to mention just about everywhere else in our society. That is the common error of liberal and conservative extremists; what offends them becomes the only possible standard of tolerance. The perverse thing is that the conservatives proclaim freedom and the liberals tolerance, but whatever offends is to be forbidden by one or not tolerated by the other.

Exactly these two statements you wrote say it all
The real answer is that there is no such thing as too much freedom as long as that freedom does not take away from another's freedom.
In their minds anything that offends them should be 100% banned and no one allowed to choose for themselves if it is right or wrong for them.
