Hmmm..
I am still thinking on this one.

Fiona....
Wow...nine years ago? Kudos on getting it finished at all....I do have the tendency to start projects and lose steam mid way.  Then I have to push myself to get them done, so I understand perfectly!

No,
Writing two books at once is not insane. I'm a Gemini and often work on two projects at once. Just make sure you finish both. (I have just finished a tapestry I started 9 years ago)

MW, I think I'm going to be mad at me too.
Right now, I'm just a little sad about it.

OK, so when I read this book I am going to be so mad at you
I just finished reading a book that killed the pet of the main character.  I sat there and sobbed and was so angry at the writer for killing hte dog.  But in truth, the story wouldn't have been the same otherwise.

C&J,
I can relate to that....and I haven't even killed him yet.

Sassy,
I think I must be crazy. I know what will happen is that it'll happen in fits and starts, one now and then, the other now and then. I hope I'm sane by the end. I've actually been re-thinking Maxwell, but sadly the story won't be the same if he doesn't disappear.

(~_~)
Yeah, my friend and I write together sometimes and I also write alone... I hate having to kill off characters and have even cried while writing death scenes!

Wow! Congrats
I couldn't write one, let alone two books. Good luck, and kiss Maxwell goodbye for me also.

Ariala,

Good advice. You can be sure I'll be stretching things out as much as I can.

Wow, interesting! Keep him alive as long as you need. LOL

Ah Quirky,
I think I have found a solution. I shall resurrect him in another story. He shall live again under another man's name.

MayB,
I hope I am up to the challenge of making the story as interesting as it sounds.

Poor Max--but if he must take one for the greater good, that's what he must do!

Word.smith, this description made it sound very enticing indeed
