Well, as a massage therapist...
You know how I feel about this...lol. Glad you're feeling better, though.

Ten years ago, I was going regularly to a wonderful chiropractor for a good price.  25 bucks a month for regular adjustments suited me very nicely.  My back never felt better.  If you can find one that suits your needs, by all means do it--and the massage, too, of course.  That's the icing!

I have no coverage by my insurance when I am out of network here in Texas.  I had been  getting chiro care for my shoulder for several weeks to try to get better to go to work 10/10, when I had to go to the e/r 9/26 (that visit was covered by my insurance thank goodness)...anyway, with the diagnosis then of diabetes and a possible kidney problem, I had to f/u with an m.d. here...who needed to do a lot fasting blood work because she looked at the lab work from the e/r and disagreed about the kidney problem but saw a potential liver problem from the Lipitor I've been on (I was supposed to have had labs drawn in August to check on it but didn't to save the cost)....anyway, those labs were $614....still seeing the chiro....I've spent over $1000 in less than a week between the chiro, m.d., and the labs.....and have to have more labs drawn next week.  And, btw, anything connected to your spinal cord is not something to let friends be bouncing around on, daughter!!

Tricare is based state by state and here the adjustment even though admisitered by an approved doctor within the network it is still considered Chiropratic care and it's not covered.  I am fighting with Tricare over this, hopefully I will win.  Thanks hon.

No he did not fix the problem at all.  The problem goes much deeper than a back that is simply out.

Military_Wife,
High medical bills are touching us all.  It is scarry to be without insurance in this day and age. I better not get hurt or sick!  Hope your shoulder feels better and that the doctor helped by putting your back in, although he charged too much.  They always do.
