I'm glad you did that....sounds like a great experience....and, definitely, stay away from the gators!  I would think a place like that would be very important for you to spend time, stilling your busy mind.

And you had a right the first time, she is Cunning's blessing

And this wannabe-writer's blessing, too.  I'm standing (sitting) in awe of you.

DJ(so it doesn't get confusing lol)

krisles

im always impressed by people who actually have some talent in writing--as opposed to the people who just draw funny pictures.

this one really gave me a clear mental image...i could imagine being outside on a windy day with just a little chill in the air...

i really liked this one.  i should really read your stuff more often.

Krisles,
I did just this a couple of weeks ago and I have no regrets. I decided to go sit at a small local lake that I have always found beautiful, yet never sat in front of it and enjoyed it. It was about 9am one Sunday morning and the breeze was so perfect. I admit, I did keep a slight distance from the edge (I live in Florida) cause I didn't feel like being consumed by any potentially hungry gators if they were around. But, the breeze was so sweet smelling, the air was pure, the neighborhood was quiet, and the music from my CD player in my car was perfect. I love moments like that and I will try to make an effort to enjoy them more often.

I know it's you....aren't you the Cunning's Blessing?  I think you are anyway!  I meant to write you after your self-description in his blog the other day....that was great! Just like I had you pictured...and a sister Virgo! And, my bedroom is lavender!
