That's a pretty scary experience for a little girl (heck, for an adult, too!) I bet you keep an eagle eye on your own children now, after having that experience young in life.

That's really scary, Sympathy. Good for you for being smart and courageous.
When I was ten years old, a younger man in a car once pulled over and asked if I wanted a ride to school... two short and clear blocks from my school. I said no, and he drove away after asking if I was sure. I sometimes wonder what would have happened had I said, Okay.
