It's an interesting thought with the way the weather is shifting.  I'm not talking the big stuff, just an observation that summer was hot, it cooled in September, etc.  In maryland, it seemed like everything shifted by a month.  I also know that we've had our reservoir dry up a few times.  That as the unthinkable.  But it happened.  I think that would be one of the most frightening natural disasters, if it can be called that.

I've always wondered if there will come a day
when the rivers on this island will dry up at their source.. I don't think I'll ever get an answer to that one.

All
Now that I think of it, I was that annoying kid who followed the older kids asking:  Why is the sky blue?  Why is the rain wet?  God is punishing me.  There's the answer.  Right before me all the time.

As I've grown older, I've gotten picky.
I try not to ask questions the answers to which I don't have a rat's ass's worth of true interest in.

Questions
My 9 year old has been asking questions since he started forming sentences. My comment to everything is always "ask your father". I might be able to answer the first question but it always sparks another and another which I can not answer. He wants to know things like why his poop is sometimes brown and others green. I passed the buck on that one simply because I only foreseen it getting worse.
