Wow, what and ego you have. The post was not direct at you specially, although you very much fall into this category. And the issue goes beyond just how some of the believers such as yourself treat homosexuals. I have been treated such just because I was an atheist. I have seen ti towards Muslims and other minorities as well. Believers just go after anyone who does not share their views and try to make those people feel worthless.

So it was not negative for you to basically call them whores and say they do not deserve to be giving fair rights? It wa not negative for you to try and say we should treat them with respect because that might allow them to feel better about themselves?

Do you go to church on Sunday (or Saturday if you believe that to be the Sabbath)? If you do, then you do not believe in the whole of the Bible. I have yet to meet anyone who honestly does not just pick and choose as they please from the Bible in order to justify whatever it is they wish to go after. You hatred towards gays is sad and is not truly justified by the Bible, you just wish to do so because you know nothing more than hatred.

Those homosexuals you claim to befriend, do they know that you believe them to be less than human? Do they know that you think they are mentally ill and need to be cured? Do they know you believe them to be worthless? Because no matter how much you may lie to yourself and others you really do feel that way about them.

Really, you live life less by the teachings of Christ than I do from the sounds of it. You can to even be honest with yourself and only wish to do all you can to hurt others. You hate the sinner more than the sin really, and are scared of them because if it turns out they are not as bad as you wish to make them out to be, then it will become harder for you to attack them in as childish a fashion as you seem to enjoy doing.

I am just glad that more and more people are growing out of the childish state of mind you are trapped in and are seeing that we need to promoted the ideas of brotherhood and building up the individual instead of trying to tear them down because they are different.

Jumping to conclusions has become your norm.

If, perchance, you were referring to ME and assuming I hate homosexuals because of the subject of my last post, YOU ARE DEAD WRONG!

I presented a slew of research against the lifestyle.  Did I say anything negative about homosexuals?  Besides the fact that they like to have sex with a lot of different partners?  No.  (And by stating that they like having sex is just me presenting a ton of data about the lifestyle.)

Some of the nicest, friendliest people I've worked with happen to be gay.  I've had a blast with them.  But do I want them adopting children?  NO.  Do I want to encourage the lifestyle by allowing marriage?  NO. For that matter, do the VAST MAJORITY OF THEM SEEM TO WANT TO MARRY? That's a big fat NO!

Obviously, though, it's impossible for a Christian to argue with an atheist over commands in the Bible.  The atheist doesn't believe anything in the Bible.  Heck, a huge number of people who call themselves religious or even Christian don't want to believe the whole Bible.  So why should I expect you to understand where I'm coming from?  I don't. In your mind I'm narrow minded and hateful.  I'm sorry you'll never CHOOSE to see the truth of why I believe what I believe.
