Pillows is a chick thing. I don't think I've ever met a woman who doesn't like putting a bazillion pillows on her bed. Oh. ., wait a minute. . , I do that, too. LOL

As for the verbena water. . , sounds like a lot of trouble (I'm the fabric softener type of person), BUT I bet your nesting trick (the verbena water and packets)is probably one of those little things, that if you do it once, you'll never have it any other way. Kind of like buying expensive candles versus inexpensive ones.

Some mornings it is very hard to get out of that bed! I'm glad to hear you feeling better.

Your skin definitely deserves the best!  And, where do you think I picked up the yada, yada, yada?! I'm like a sponge and I now find myself saying that all the time....it's not a Texas thing....trust me!!!  My mother just asked me, "Where did that come from?".....I said, "This California friend."....."When did you make a friend in California?!"....."Online, Mama."....."Really?!...How?".....(I'm thinkin' to myself....what in the hell have I done?!....the questions will never end.....yada,yada,yada)

I used to have pink satin sheets years ago......got tired of having to put them back together all the time, and they just really weren't nearly as comfortable as these....they slide on me so I stay on the bed where I belong!  Of course, I would imagine your waterbed and black satins give you the feeling of flying so that's why you love them!

I have black satin 'Sex' sheets.
They're on my water bed. Its great, you slip, and slide all over the place like you were on a lubed up jimmy hat.

You get your butt online right now (I recommend SmartBargains.com) and at least get the high count sheets.  You are a whatever kind of princess that was and you deserve to go to sleep and wake up feeling like one....and it will give you an attitude to attract someone to build the rest of the nest for you.  If you haven't tried them, you won't believe how they make you feel...and they just keep getting softer and softer and softer...you deserve the best....you take care of your body and soul...this is just another step!  Now, do it and I don't want to hear any arguments!

Ah, no, Krisles...My nest isn't wonderful like yours....
I just wait for someone to build me a comfy nest...Yeah....sometimes I'm a spoiled baby. I want some to feather me...haha...

Thank you! It's good to be back...if even for just an afternoon....and I have soooo much I need to be doing if I have any home of still being able to go to work....and that's only if the doctor will let me.  Glad you liked my nest and hope you have one, too - you deserve the best!

Krisles....Soothing title..and a soothing post.....
I like the idea of "feathering my nest." I love that expression---have never heard it said like that before. That image really means something. You even make sleeping an important human function of comfort and rest...the Egyptian cotton sheets...the sweet smell of verbena. It's all so nurturing. And you are very organized and I know you love details. Everything in its place..Glad you're back.
