Thank you for the suggestion

Thank you for the suggestion. Please note that you can choose not to read ever again a writer who has blocked you from commenting on their writing.

In that scenario, you will be contributing only a tiny percentage of your total reader payments to that writer and the vast majority of your reader payments will go to other writers who you read more often.

Thank you.

If you read a magazine then failed to contact the editor, would they owe

you the money back? Nope, unless they promised it as part of the purchase.

If you took an apple off the display and ate it, then couldn't get hold of the produce manager to comment on it, would you be entitled to a free apple?

 Nope.

If you were cultivating a blog and some dissonant comments came through, wouldn't you want to be able to prune them off?

Yep.

Wasn't the ability to delete or block part of the deal when we signed up?

Explicitly.

And can't one still comment here, and the other community sections, or in a blog of one's own?

Heck, yeah, flame on as long as it meets the standards.

I've had to snip a couple comments, (one at the commentor's request) and I think it's an excellent feature. Now, if "they" could edit my comments into something I didn't intend, I'd be up in arms, but they can't....so far
