You can't get that novel written for your mother's birthday THIS year. But, if you start now, you could have it self-published by her birthday NEXT year. Get started, Princess. You'll be happy you did.

I can see you're busy,
but why not just start. A little bit every day will get you far closer to finished than putting it off completely.

Heck, Symphony...Your mom sounds like a hot-ticket....
It sounds like your plate is full, but little by little, start writing some paragraphs about her. I would love to hear her stories through you..

Symphony,
I think your book is a fantastic idea. I would love to write one about my great-grandparents. My only sadness is that they didn't live long enough to read anything I've written. I'm so happy for you that your mum will have that chance!
As for getting time to write, I've found that in order to have time, you have to make time for yourself. Try to set up a schedule of some kind or other. I know it won't be easy, but perhaps when the children have gone to bed or are visiting your mum. Everything will come together for you when the time is right. I promise!! If there's anything I can do to help you out, please don't hesitate to ask.
I'm so pleased for your Shannon. It sounds as if she's having a wonderful time in those dance classes!! Please wish her well for me.
Good luck with your life style changes!! You're in my thoughts and prayers always. If you need to chat, you know where I am!!
God bless, Love.

Invest in yourself.
It is sure to build a bigger retirement. You write so much on blog, share some of that time with your novel, its getting jealous.

This is very interesting. Dancers need to be light. So there's more incentive for your healthy family diets.

i enjoy reading you, even when you are at a loss for a topic. you're sincere and that's important. i'm writing a book, too. what i found necessary is to focus on the book in my mind, and use blogging as entertainment.

Good luck with your lifestyle changes!
Be sure to get your mom to identify all the photos. I've got too many photos of people I have no clue about. Take care.

Hi Symph!
The story about your Mum would make a good read I'm sure. There are lots of books out there on writing a novel and I've found them really helpful...may be a good place to start? Good luck and congratulations for your daughter!

Your mother has indeed lived a very interesting life.
Her life story should make interesting reading. Kudos to your budding star.
As to your writing, there is nothing but to make the time for it. No matter how short the time, use every window of opportunity that opens up.
