Hardly. My issue is how they would prosecute. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" does not make for stern administration of justice; who among us would say to a judge, "Lay it on me, give me the maximum sentence!"? We would want leniency and forgiveness, as is human nature to do, so a Golden Rule system of criminal justice would grant it instead of punishment.

Your post: The liberals are loath to admit that there are many, many people to whom the Golden Rule is meaningless. We are awash in domestic violence, sexual harassment, child abuse, substance abuse, theft, fraud, the list goes on and on.

Are you suggesting that liberals think that these sins (if you will) shouldn't be against the law?
