Okay, just watched The Grudge last night and all I can say is..............
DAMN!
The part that freaked me out the most was that the curse isn't just contained to a certain area...it can follow you home!

kori,
It IS scary. I saw it a few weeks ago. But, not scary enough to really freak me out. Blair Witch Project did that to me, though. I lived alone after seeing it in the theater and I was kinda scaywed to be alone in my house!

Well, have you ever had a movie THAT YOU'VE NEVER SEEN
scare the crap out of you?
I just rented The Grudge via Netflix and my hubby, who's usually the weenie when it comes to scary movies, is gung-ho to see it and I've been putting it off cuz I'm still creeped out over The Ring which we saw a couple years ago.
The only time we have to watch it is at night after the girls have gone to sleep. I told Jerry I want to watch it in the daytime! Ack!

Symph,
K, like I had to think for a second about whatcha meant about running uptairs. At first, I thought ya meant tripping while running upstairs (which, I admit, I've done many times in life.) But now, I gotcha. Yeah, that's the smart thing to do. The Boogey Man is loose in the house downstairs so your dumbass RUNS UPSTAIRS! Hellleeeww? Not trapping yourself or anything, huh?

Do you find yourself yelling at the screen, too?

Pains for reading your piece? Geez! I like reading you. If it was painful to me, I assure you I wouldn't have!

That is on my top 5 list, too! Especially cause I have been told so many times that I look like Linda Blair. That didn't help!!

Jimmy,
It was a great movie, especially for 1980. Very well made but now, I still can't listen to some of the music from that movie!

Factor, well, I'm still feeling with my fingers, hehe, but
I am able to turn my head to the side now. I have another "adjustment" tomorrow. I'm hoping that he tells me the discs are returning back to where they belong. I really never knew they could travel on their own. Guess I learned the hard way. Thanks for the concern and the werewolf.

Temple,
I'm glad I could help you figure out your "visitors." No, I didn't slip any more discs since M came home. If I did become anymore disabled I think I'd kill myself.

Nightmare on Elm Street for me
For some reason, the idea that going to sleep could provoke a hideous, murderous beast really bugged me.

Great flick!
My personal all time favorite, of course, is the original Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Hits on so many levels, including the good use of social Darwinism.

when you said scary experience...
I thought you were going to talk about knocking on windows. You know, there was knocking on the wall, too for a long time. I just thought it was something else, but it stopped now. And, I was on the phone tonight for hours, total tonight longer than us yesterday...lost one bar off of my battery instead of the whole thing. Total confirmation. Plus, Petie's stopped yelling in the other room all the time. Trippy when you finally put it all together. But, doncha love Mark's pic? lol... OH, and the spider that kept spinning webs all around my apt windows on the outside? Remember I said she was gone when they cut down the trees? She went way out of her way to spin a web attached my awning and the apartment below's awning. I'm convinced she's some kind of guardian now. A spider guardian. Figures. Hope you didn't slip anything else when Marc came home. ;)
