what mystic said is true. you have a good heart, and so you will question your motives. that is the way to truth.

Your post was a deeply reflective one. It makes us to think twice on anything we do. That was really great. I also want to thank for reading my article. THE situation in Western Sudan is really appalling, but the African Union or the Arab League two political organisation that Sudan belongs to is not really turning up the heat on the regime in Khartoum.

we become free as we loose the chains we bind others with...our projections, our expectations, our disappointments.

I'm still trying to get a few others to see things my way... with no real success.  The consequences of their point of view seem so severe... and affect others.  Doesn't seem right.   Seems like accepting I can't change them means all the others who suffer as a result of their actions must continue to suffer.  Or... am I just fooling myself to think I'm taking on this battle for them.. is it really for me?  Are my motives really nobel?

I always enjoy those times when youre in the company
of someone and you have a 'silent knowing' where you don't need to say anything but you both know that you're kind of 'seeing the same'. I think this is something to cultivate in relationships.

I think others reflect not only who we want to be, but also who we are currently.

i used to think, 'God! if my mom only knew what she was doing to herself.' i would try and try to help her. but, in actuality i was only trying to save myself. i have accepted her unconditionally now and it's so much nicer.
