Well it looks like there is plenty of interest and plenty of folks who have an interest, so I suppose we need to figure out how we are going to keep track.

I'm soooo with you on this
I too am disgusted with the weight and condition that I've let myself get into. I can't pretend I don't know when or how cuz I do. Now I just need to be honest with my desire to get back into shape. No diet, no super pill, just honest hard work and really giving it my all not to eat after 6: in the evening. I hear walking is suppose to be the best for getting firm and fit? Good luck and lets keep one another in check.

Offbeat

First of all 5:30 AM for anything other than just heading for bed should be against the law.  Second the closest Y is almost 50 miles away.

But I have committed to working out 3-4 times per week and at least walking on the other days.  So I am counting on you to be the resident butt kicker!

A Marine?

Ever read "The Great Santini"?  It's one of my very favorite books and movies.  OK, anything by Pat Conroy is awesome but that is the one that introduced him to me.  If you haven't you need to pick it up.

MW--Dad was a DI in the Marines (Paris Island, no less).
I find it rather difficult to beat around the bush.

LOL!
I love how you mince words Reni!  Actually it sounds pretty close to what I said to myself!

Get off your ass, fatso! How's that?

Hey, if this is a club, I'll join!  Maybe we can motivate each other!  I'll email you what I eat EVERY day.  Maybe that will humiliate me into eating better!
