Babyangel,
What you have said about growing up in the Army I'm sure is all true but those are not the reasons most of us should have for supporting our troops. We need to appreciate and be thankful for our troops, especially when at any time any or all of them could be called up to fight to the death for each and every one of us who are here at home. They do it without regret and fearlessly and for the good of their whole country and everyone in it, including those who choose not to support our troops. That is a total selflessness and something to be admired, respected, and loved. Thanks to you and all of our troops.

Baby angel

You stick to your opinions!

In the rabid rantings back and forth over the justice or otherwise of the Iraq war, respect for those who are doing their duty in waging it is being lost. Your military are increasingly being portrayed as some kind of Nazi storm troopers.

In war, the PBI, poor bloody infantry go where they're told and do what they're told. This is one Briton who has great respect for your military, who are being sent to do a well-nigh impossible task.

Good luck with your blog
