miaella, My dreams are just beginning to come true. I'm 43.
There's an important quote I love from L. Ron Hubbard; it's from what he calls the Code of Honor, which is a code which can't be enforced but is the one which is natural to a being in a good state: "Never regret yesterday. Life is in you today, and you make your tomorrow."

30 is when your life really starts. i know it sounds funny, but really... when you are in your teens, you have all these big dreams, you are invincible, but know nothing about what life really is. when you are in your 20's, you are just learing what the world really has to offer. you experiment, you test your theorys, it's all trial and error, and for many they give up and settle. once you hit your 30s you reevaluate, you get your game plan on.. you aren't scared of what you were before, it's time to live your life and know that those things people convinced you of when you were growing up, were just other peoples perception, reality or lies.. whatever...

big hugs !!

25 was when I had those feelings
30 wasn't that bad.
I joked over 40.
I'm 42 now.
You have to hang in there.

Even though things haven't worked out the way you planned you've still accomplished a lot! Think of all the experience you have! I'm thirty, dropped out of college worked at the same place for almost ten years but I haven't given up! The new decade is a new beginning.

When I turned 30
I realized I needed to make changes in my life. Dreams don't die at 30 you create new ones and expand on the old ones!
