Too much trouble to work on someone else who isn't listening anyway.

good post
women are more indirect with their confrontational strategies, which i think comes out more as being judgmental. however, having said that, i work in EMS. i've never seen so many hypercritical men in my entire life! it seems that, too, with these men, they would rather back bite than face each other courageously when things bother them. good post.

i AGREE
I credit the media lies with our value system for women. We are taught to judge by looks, by the outer shell, by how skinny we are, how pure our skin is, etc.

I feel that undoubtedly men in general are much less judgemental than women ; especially in areas such as dress and manners. What man ever tells his woman how to dress, and how to behave in public or private?
I believe that while men may not be more tolerant in many areas, they do tend to live and let live more than women ; and accept people for what they are.
Perhaps this stems from the tradional roles of men and women; with men having a far wider experience of the world outside the home that their wives, so that traditionally men have been there, seen it, done it.This must inevitably engener a more tolerant attitude to other's shortcomings.
Social attitudes rapidly become firmly entrenched, and although women are more emancipated than ever intheir history, it wll take several generations - if ever - for these social attitudes to change to any significant degree.
I am dusting off my armour, ready for the comments that one can expect for writing such heretical views.
