- Go to Dealing with losers -- like waddya do when they just don't get it?
Xeno-x - I'm seeing some blog inspiration in the first part of your comment
as I re-read it. I will adress it tomorrow.

Xeno-x -- no truer words were ever spoken
"live the best you can for yourself and others while you can"..... encapsulates my sentiments as well.

keep up the good work
problem is
many Christians will not understand that the mythology of their religion stands in the way of they and many others discovering things that will help all of us advance.
no matter whether religion or not the ultimate addage is:
live the best you can for yourself and others while you can.

thelongroad -- that last comment was almost a challenge
We are just bags of chemicals if you are using the chemical designation for water, but mostly we are water. Ugly sacks of water. That may be the first truth that I picked up in anything you have ever said in a comment. At least they didn't lie to you about that part. ...you typically presume that all of the important things you are trying to list are out of the grasp of a non believer. It takes some form of faith in invisible and quite mythical beings and creatures to enjoy these privilidges according to you. Well ...now you've asked for it. To suggest that I am somehow going to be denied these things without an allegiance to a dead man from long ago, is a little bit ludicrous to me. I have attained all of these things and more, beyond my wildest imagination. But you cannot see that. You cannot see that you are talking to someone that hasn't made $9.00 per hour since 1976. And that was as a summer student. I've escaped poverty and it's debilitating clutches and I'm here to tell you that Jesus had nothing to do with it.

Almost There
Hey gomedome, make sure you are not wearing white now. Almost there, yes I believe those hate pimples are about to pop as you rushed to vomit out this rant and rage. A little more pressure. Yes, wrap yourself in that blanket called myth to block out the light of truth. I see it well. You just love the sound of that word. Myth. "Christians are losers" sounds good too. Meaningless words to construct your hollow beliefs.
Let's play devil's advocate, and explain exactly what is the purpose of life since there is no God. To spit out new children who will suck up more resources and then become worm food as well? What is love? Just meaningless chemical reactions in the brain? Why get married? Why love your children? What point does it serve when you can die in an instant? We are just bags of chemicals in your dark world. Cya spammy.

WhiteJedi -- it looked like a website for teenagers, all flash (literally)
and no substance. I guess I'm suppposed to be moved by some rock guitarist, admitted substance abuser and chronic loser becoming a Christian. Or maybe the person who dropped the link is trying to demonstrate that their faith is made up of losers? ...no, that would be too unkind.

kooka_lives -- except they may not have the mental faculty to know how
ridiculous they look. I've had a couple of them lately, one in particular picked up on a singular typo and left a comment describing the miniscule error with several typos of their own. What do you do with people like that? In the case of my latest nuisance, he drops in every few days to spout some nonsense then dissapears for awhile, always refusing to address the inconsistancies, errors and outright BS he manufactures as contentions.

mmm.....wonder if they're standing in front of heaven's gate? Maybe God has crowd control problems too. Heck, there might even be angels with anti-mob gear standing around St. Peter.

I know how you feel
I get the same load of BS from believers when I make a good point and they are unable to provide any real logic to counter me. Discreditng is really all they are left with to defend themselves. It really makes the look bad.
