I'm not sure how it happens. I've always loved to think like this.

avant-garde,
Wow, that was deep. I mean that. How do you constantly think so deeply? You are amazing. Everything you write is thought provoking.

Yes. Perfect. We have always existed. We enter time to discover this truth. What we are not must exist to experience what we are.

Finding balance is coming to rest in the center. When this occurs, the mind relaxes. It is no longer chasing one or resisting the other. It merely is. Have you ever given something to someone without a whisper of wanting? You begin to see how beautiful non-resistance can be.

Of course. Duality is life's teacher. It is why we are here.

Yes, it does. We think this makes me happy, but it has also just been given the power to make unhappy. We don't realize that we can't choose one aspect without experiencing its opposite.

Yes! Quirky
That is the reason for our being here: being. How else can we experience the different aspects of ourselves, but through time and space? It all fits so perfectly.

Everything stems from the Power of One
As always, you write beautiful posts. The One is all...no beginning & no end. Everything is created from the One. You are right when you say that duality (the power of two) provides us with great teachers, etc. Without a comparison, we cannot know much at all...we need to experience the negative side to appreciate the Light.

hey Avant
what do you feel balance plays in the scheme of duality?as neutral or love. You say we need duality to learn,it also seems we need duality to grow.Like a tree given rain and sun,and that balance is what it needs to grow.I see it very complicated in human growth, yet you are great at simplifying things.thanks

this was very interesting. Without duality, we would not know what each one was, for we'd have nothing to compare it to.
