I have never heard about superglue igniting upon contact with clothing.  ...I'll have to go try it!

MiaElla....

Good Post.. The lint in my dryer shows up on dark clothes as a dust bunny. I know its there now so I look for it before I put the clothes away. Never had that problem with Super Glue.. I thank Vane for her comment. I had never heard of that before.

I stick everything in the washer together too....never hire me to do your laundry...haha...oh, yes, smoke and flames...and you know, if I tried to light a fire with a match...I probably wouldn't be able too...lol

Mia, count yourself lucky.

The lady who washes puts everything in the machine so the lint - wouldn't you know it - get's stuck to everything that's dark.  My husband nearly had a fit yesterday because his black pants had turned grey from all the lint that was stuck to it.   I think I'll stay away from super glue.

Thanks for the advice. My sister also told me you can get rhinstones that punch through the fabric and stay on forever...I'll look into both....thanks again!

I think the jeans actually produce the lint, which is why there seems to be an unlimited supply of it in jean pockets.  The thing about the superglue souds crazy, it's never happened to me.  If you want to glue rhinestones to fabric use E-600.  It's the best glue for that type of thing.
