Oh, my dear Symphony....
I'm so sorry for Charlie. Just know that when her time comes and she is taken to "Doggie Heaven", her heart will be healed and her health problems resolved, she'll be able to run in the meadows with all the other dogs and be healthy again for eternity. She'll wait there for you and your family and time will come, you will pick up wherever you leave off.
That's my philosophy on humans as well, Symphony (well, some of them lol). I think death makes us whole again.
My heart goes out to you and your suffering. Please know I will keep you and Charlie in my thoughts and prayers. God bless....

Meanwhile think of all the good times you've shared and be happy to know that whatever her time allowed in this world...you've made sure it's the BEST time. Be proud of that...and enjoy every minute you have with her and other loved ones....is it a her or him??
