The Discovery Channel had a wonderful documentary/movie that premiered a few days ago about Flight 93. It was titled
The Flight that Fought Back. After recounting the events of those on THAT flight, both before it took off and during the flight (before its crash), the movie spoke to the passengers families and told of how the crash affected their lives (losing their loved ones). Interested show, if you get a chance to catch it. Your post made me think of this movie for some reason.

Wow Symphony, what an unusual and tragic experience for them! It is amazing that when life is such an uncertain day-to-day thing, why do men (yup still mostly men, sorry guys) feel the need to kill and hurt each other as well as women and children? I say we kill 'em all!

(That's a JOKE, only a joke, guys!)

Our bodies go through
the motions of life after great and severe trauma....it is our spirit that propells one foot in front of the other until we fit back into our bodies physically and mentally. The human spirit is a marvelous piece of gawds work.

I am sorry that happened to them. It is unfortunate the accident happened, the Captain should have known better than to tell a ship load to go to one side. I would do anything to see another whale shark, but not as far a going down with the ship.
I hope she travels soon, it just might take time to get over the trauma!

Hey, Symphony.....
I don't think anybody ever gets over these things, but at some point they have to put them aside and get on with their lives.
Stay well, Honey!

It is very difficult to overcome the traumatic experience. Most would never return to it.
