Joe_Love, I don't envy you, but it could be worse...they really could be rabbits! One day I will tell the story of how the two rabbits I bought a yard sale in April were seventeen rabbits by June! It's true, they do breed like, well, rabbits!! LOL!

Hysterical post, Joe! I loved the Oompa Loompa song--i sang along as I read. I wish I could take one of those pups off your hands. They are going to be precious!

Joe...Delightful story...since I've never owned a dog...
I wouldn't know what to do. That little poem was hilarious and you put a smile on my face today, and believe me, I've been a bitch all day. Thanks. Rub the mama's little tummy-to-be for me...

Hey, Joe
". . .that our little snow girl is getting ready to toss four or five Big Macs onto the counter that we didn't necessarily order." Wow, again, when it comes to hyperbole, you shine through with some good ones. As always, enjoyed reading. I always click off with a chuckle.

We all have to face it with our pets. It's hard, Joe. But you don't want loads more little mouths to feed.
Puts me in mind of a sign that was in our vet's window once: "Spaying and neutering for people on benefits" it said. I thought that was a little extreme myself.

Now that's the first time I've heard about chicken flavoured toothpaste.
I'm pretty sure that you'll have both dogs fixed once the young 'uns arrive.

Congratulations Joe! I know how you feel!
My Annabelle has doubled in size in the last couple of weeks so I don't think it will be long before I hear the pitter patter of little paws again.

Yes, puppies are adorable, but listen to Susan Lucci!!!! The last thing the world needs is more dogs being born. Too many dying in shelters every day. Man, those are going to be some tiny, precious things though!

Aw, you're thrilled, I can tell Joe Love
A bit nervous, but that's normal for grandoomp-loompa's, lol. I bet they will be so adorable and you'll fall so deeply in love, not one will be surrendered. Neutered perhaps, but all part of the family.

Gee! I hate when this happens. You should have listened to
Susan Lucci. New puppies are pretty cute though. Just don't keep too many of them.
