So they know not to bite the hand that writes their checks. I'm not at all surprised about the acting classes either. That's too funny. Hey, maybe these people on all these law shows are just 'practicing' for the real thing. I'm tempted now to re-post something I wrote about lawyers and the legal profession awhile back, but man, the three people who read me are going to get sick of the deja vu doo. It's coming though, any opportunity I get to be lazy gets jumped on.

thanks for the feedback.

When you have the checkbook, dealing with attorneys is a different situations.  The professional ones learn to work with you and developing a good working relationship is very common...good negotiation becomes something you both enjoy and doing the best work you can for the benefit of all is the end game.  Very few attorneys actually want to spend that much time in court....nor do they unless there is just an honest disagreement. The bad ones....again, reminding them I had the checkbook was easy enough, and if that didn't do it, eventually they could talk ugly with our attorneys who just loved to talk ugly back in the ultimate put up or shut up games.  A lot of attorneys take acting classes in college, just fyi.

A lawyer who made you laugh?!  Are you sure you don't need an aspirin?  :-)

Thanks so much for the kind words.

Delightfully said...I don't need any aspirin...makes me want some champagne for a toast and a giggle....you remind me of this attorney I used to love to negotiate claims with; he had so many ways to play around with the things I'd say he kept me in stitches. This is going to be a keeper for me.

Libertine

being off balance helps me stay centered.  Gives me a headache too though.  Take two aspirin and make them dance.

Thank you very much.  I don't usually post poetry here, but every now and then I like to change things up.  I'm glad you enjoyed.
