Dreyma, I like to stick with things just to prove to myself I can.
I hope to submit something to one of these journals soon. Thanks for your encouragement.

I wish you great luck! It is difficult to find that niche, when you aren't living in the States, and most of the opportunities for publishing are there.
But it is only a small wrinkle..

MsVision,
The idea of being published is a daunting one for many of us. Maybe your initial step could be some sort of online search. Try different keywords. Maybe 'online journals' or 'literary journals' is a place to start. What is sure is that you will come up with a lot more information that you need.
Take your time, do some research and then make the first few steps based on what you is required by the publication you may want to approach. I don't know if at this point you would need an agent or editor, basically, I did query letters and that got me my first gig. Let me know how things go. Dunno if I can help you in anyway, but if I can, I sure will.

The idea of getting published is so daunting I just don't know where to start. Do I need an editor, an agent or should I just pitch myself to publishers? Is there an audience for what I write outside of Bloggit? is my work suitable for online. multi-media or paperback? The fact that I'm writing ficton again is great! Its good to read your post to start thinking about potential options but its all very bewildering and scary.
