My nine-year-old dog recently had a few growths removed... not cancerous, but it was best that we have them removed. Aside from tearing his ACL a few years ago, he's always been a pretty healthy guy. Its always difficult to see a beloved pet with health problems, because you hate seeing them in pain. When Henry came nack from the vet's, he was in a lot of pain and very, very drugged.

Ick.
I can relate. I found a growth on my old lady kitty tonight... She's almost ten and just likes to live her life in her own way... I dread finding out what is going on.

That's so hard when an animal is hurting.
I hope she'll be okay. I had to put my old Gold Dog down a few years back -- he had bone cancer. Tore me to shreds.
I hope Charlie will be okay.
