yeah my man loves to sit in there reading for ages.  And the kids with the presents they like to leave all over the seat!  I hate forgetting to turn the light on to check in the dark! Not nice to have a wet bum!

Man, JJ, I've never spent enough time on the "crapper" as to where
my legs became numb. Wow. Guess I should consider myself lucky.

Timmy, solitude?
What solitude? It's poo for hell's sake! Just sit down, poo, wipe, flush, wash hands, and leave. What's the hold up?

You wash your hands after having a dump? Snob.

spiffy,

I'm planning on getting a laptop with a wireless hookup so I can blog from the crapper.  I honestly can't think of a better place for reading blogs.

It is necessary to get a good crapper seat though.  Some of the old ones that have no padding can cut off circulation to your legs and the first thing that happens is the phone rings and your legs are too numb for you to stand up and get to it.  Then, too, it's harder than hell to just get up and out of the crapper when you legs are too numb to support you.  Maybe that's why men spend more time in the crapper.  There is bound to be some difference in the routing of the femoral arteries.  Men probably get circulation cutoff and have to spend ten-fifteen minutes getting their legs working well enough to get out of the stall without falling on their faces.

I don't know.  It seems that everything you do runs into a bunch of problems.  I think I may get a case of dynamite and just start blowing up everything that inconveniences me.  Half a stick would more than take out a crummy crapper.  Just have to make sure your legs are working good before you light the fuse.

ROFLMAO...........This is great!!  It's a place to get away and sit in silent (mostly) solitude.

Damn! The screen just melted, I'm laughing so hard here!
Sorry, Young Miss, but that's just something guys do.

I think it's a throwback to the days when mom and dad had five or six screaming kids -- and one bathroom in the house -- and the old man just needed privacy. What better place to not be bothered, particularly if you can peel the lead off a core reactor with your product, than the can?

I read about 3 pages of the new Harry Potter book this morning!  I live alone, so I kind of like the occasional leisurely dump.  Yes I know - TMI!

In the men's bathrooms at work, there are newpapers on the floors in the
stalls.  They just leave them there.  That is sooo gross.  Picking up a newspaper that some other guy had just read on the toilet?    (don't ask me how I know... )

What about those people that take food or drink into the potty?
My brother-in-law takes a cup of coffee in with him, and I once saw a candy wrapper in my mother-in-laws bathroom trash. Don't these people know about airborn cooties? JFC!

Sassy,

Sounds smart. We keep a few matchbooks handy.

Hehehe
My hubby takes his Wheel of Fortune game, newspaper, and poker machine into the library. He then spends an hour fumigating the house with noxious odors. Thankfully, we have 3 bathrooms, because nobody goes in after him without a fresh can of deodorizer in hand.

I like to play Yahtzee ~

On one of those little hand-held game gizmos.  My high score is 620 and it only took about an hour and 10 minutes.

If something's worth doing, it's worth taking the time to do it right.
