Nice to read your interesting journal again. If I may suggest, maybe it is time to rope in a new worker for your karaoke business. All involoved could get more out of it. (taking turns, more contracts etc)

word.smith ...he doesn't even want to see the children
and to be honest we are better off without him - we don't need his money.....but thank you

Cute kids.

I don't understand why your husband isn't helping you to support the kids. Is he not meeting his obligations out of spite?  If so, you should get him to pay -even if you have to do it through the courts.

Oh Symph!!
They are beautiful!!  Thank you for posting these photos!  It's so nice to put faces to names!  What gorgeous children...your daughter has such pretty hair!  So it's hot over there?  I'm packing clothes for the cold weather...of course I'll be mostly in Scotland and the south of England.  We head over yonder tomorrow.  How wonderful that you are able to get away with the kids so often.  You're all creating great memories!

They are beautiful indeed.  I appreciate the opportunity to read your blog and learn more about you.  You seem to be in a class of your own on this Blogit tumble world--i.e., liked by everyone.  Hemlocker

Beautiful pictures!
Unfortunately, not all children get to experience life. We also go away to different places several times a year. We live in a small town, and some of my daughter's friends have never even been out of the area in their whole life. Many parents just can't afford it or they just aren't into traveling. I cannot count how many times we have had one of their friends along with us, and they can't wait to go with us again. I am like a gypsy, I must see different things. My kids have been everywhere, and they love it. We are one of the fortunate ones also.

You are such a fortunate lady

You have a business that you love and freedom to schedule in holidays for your kids... not to mention OWN a vacation home.

Perhaps if you went to the vacation home every 2 weeks and rented it out on the weeks in between, the house would pay for itself in addition to you being able to keep your business from suffering.. in addition, you child would see that you have to work to play.  Work, play, work, play...  Isn't that what life is about!!!?

Next time you're at your vacation home... have a little fun for me too!
