T he system uses its own output for heat once it gets going, so there is a trade off for sure. The problem as I recall was it would only be comptetitive when gas hit $3 a gallon, and well, here we are. I too, will have to do more reasearch but it is a damn site better than doing nothing new, which is also where we are.

food4thought - sounds great but its all about the input vs. output
ratio that drives practicality...I'll have to do the research to find out these numbers
