Z,

I'm not surprised that bloggers are at work there.  The same kind of thing, depending on the technology available, has been the mainstay of decent journalism for as long as it has been around.  With modern technology, it's hard to imagine how much more exciting a journalism career could be.  We're worlds from the Hemingway journalism era.

The problems in the U.S. hurricane area amaze me.  In the middle east we just had the Tsunami, an event that makes hurricane K look like a firecracker compared to the Hiroshima bomb, and the people worked hard, didn't whine continuously, and helped one another incredibly.  In the U.S. we have a simple hurricane and the area turns into a war zone.  Is there something wrong with that picture?  I think so.  It seems to be a very significant comment on U.S. society.

Hey Zoke!
I wasn't aware that bloggers are doing their thing down there. I guess some places unbelievably were able to keep a connection. I'm sure it's a much needed respite from all that they are suffering through.  Schree`
